odd knock sensor problem

odd knock sensor problem
I posted this in the civic forum but no luck. My knock sensor only acts up when at idle. I can drive all day but the first red light I have to stop at the cel comes on and does whatever it does. Is this a common problem if so what is the fix. thanks

new setup or stock?
have you checked for wiring problems?
have you replaced the knock sensor?
there rally isn't much else to check with a knock sensor, it's not a complex setup outside the ECU.
