Default something just aint right

a lil while ago my car started a banging sound when i hit bumps in the road. the sound is coming from the drivers side. it does have lowering springs on it and they do not pop when i turn the wheel. the strut is not bouncing when i do the push test and no signs of leaking. the bump stop on the strut shaft in torn and split, i just replaced the control arm bushing and that quiet it some . i believe its the strut but for the life of me it acts fine ,unless i hit a bump.. thought it might be the top mount any thoughts ,i'm at a loss

nut is tightened to 33 ft lbs. the more i think about it i believe its a weak strut. by the way the bump stop is destoyed. its only a 1.5 drop but the springs were installed on the 90,000 miles original struts. due to buget restraints i found some tokico shocks for what i could get some monrue sensa tracks so i'll go that route and hope that it solves this bs

i checked ball joints and tie rod joints. when i put in the new energy suspension control arm bushings. no vibes. and i change the rear engine mount just cause it looked like it needed it and shaken the **** outta everything i could grab onto. even had the wife take it out for a spin and she says it sounds like its coming from the top of the fender. btw thanks for trying to help . also found a small tear in the front mount ,it has been ordered and will be installed as soon as it hits my poarch
the fact that she too says the sound is coming from the top of the fender ,under the hood leads back to the top mount and struts.

wait, so you're saying you're dropped 1.5" on 90k mile OEM struts?! i'm gonna say that there is a very good chance your struts are blown.
