things to upgrade on an aging integra
hey i have a 94 gsr, mileage still around 70k, but its getting old. what parts are good to upgrade before they break on me?? eg which ones am i going to have to upgrade soon or later? i ask this b/c i hate having to bring it to a shop since i have no choice when it brakes (need it done fast). i'd rather research it and just upgrade at my own convenience before the parts go bad.
things i've already done: intake, header, cat, exhaust, rims/wheels, shocks, coilovers, brakes

your getting near the timing belt/waterpump interval, but cause of the age you may wanna do that anyway. if your real **** you could check on the radiator. but its all pretty much just basic maintenance for things that NEED to get replaced.
like intake, header, rims... those are items that just dont go bad. as long as nothings wrong wtih them.

What I like to do is whenever I do a major tune up on a high mileage car is to check/replace coolant hose. Not just the upper and lower coolant hose, but all of the smaller ones too. Since your car is 12 years old you may want to look into it.
what about those shiny things i see on the bottom of peoples car, around where the rear axles are (lca or something?). is that something im gonna need to change anyway? i don't want it unless it will actually need to be replaced later

Yes Lower Control Arms, those aren't ever a "need" to replace item. For suspension gurus they lighten things up but mostly there for looks.

Just replace the parts as need be. You won't save any money replacing them before they actually need to be. Timing belt you replace before it snaps because if you don't, you risk an expensive engine rebuild.
Yeah man you deffinitly want to change all those coolant hoses and while your in there get the thermostat I have a 92 with a 180k and those things have been nothing but a pain in my rear entry so change em all
