Default Spark Plugs stuck in head

Well bought a DX hatch a couple of months ago... I go to change the spark plugs and the spark plugs break off on cylinder one and four....

is there any way to get them out of the head without damaging it or taking off the head? thanks

Easiest way is taking off the head.

You could try a bolt extractor...with a long *** tap extension. That would be fairly expensive (the extension anyways)
Id just pull the head too. Few hours to do it right.

yeah i wouldn't want to try an extractor without taking the head off afterwards to clean out the chips that could have gotten in the chamber. the way these heads are designed that'll be your best bet to not break anything else. good luck man.

thats scary, i bet they were the original spark plugs.

i did a tuneup on a friends car, it was a 94 buick something, still had the original sparkplugs with 230,000 miles on em....never had to use a breaker bar to get leverage on plugs before.

Put some PB Blaster in there and let it sit for a bit...maybe with very long needle nose pliers you might be able to spin the top of whatever is left of the thread for the plug, depending on what you have to work with obviously.
