Default aem v2 intake

Does anyone have this for a GSR? I haven't been able to find pictures of it actually in the car, so I'm wondering if it is the same length as the v1, because it's not called a "cold air" I'm wondering if it draws air from the same spot as the CAI, or if it's shorter like an SRI.

Is this the one with 9802349320 bends in it? I've only seen 1 pic and it might have just been some ricer with a dumb sticker on it. But it seriously had multiple 90* bends and 45* bends.

Is the fitment the same as the v1 CAI? I just want to know if it goes as low as the CAI because I kindof want to avoid water at all costs. I live in MA and winter is coming...

fitment is exactly the same...same bends as well. only a little bigger in diameter at the bottom half.

It was way too much effort installing it "properly" than it was worth and barely any gains lol. I helped my friend install one. Basically mounting a new lower tranny bracket and spacing out the a/c lines for it to fit.

I dont know about you guys, but an intake shouldnt take anymore than 10 minutes, if even, to put on.

That's what I'm thinking, unless you make it yourself out of a hand-held propane tank...LOL

I was still satisfied with mine even though it did take like an hour to install.
