Air Conditioning problem please help

Default Air Conditioning problem please help

my Air Conditioning was working just fine to about a week ago, now i have this problem. Air Conditioning works but only on levels 3 and 4, blows no air on levels 1 and 2 but on these levels Air Conditioning motor fan comes on just no air.

There is a relay on the fan motor itself that goes bad and needs to be replaced.

The resistor is near the fan motor not in the climate control..
The reason for this is that the resistor produces a fair amount of heat
so they place it near the fan to cool it..

To replace it is not a hard job at all..
A phillips head screwdriver is about all you need.
Remove the two screws at the bottom of the glovebox and remove;
And the resistor will be right behind in plain view..


I believe the actual Honda part number is the second one:
"2704963 Resistor 79330-SH3-003"
probably around 40 bucks...

As 88dxcrx said, it is your blower motor resistor, if you go to your local parts store, you can get them for about 25-30 bucks.

If you need reassurance,
Take the resistor out and examine it..

On mine you could tell just by looking at it
that the coils were broken..

If still uncertain,check across the coils with a ohmmeter..
