I had a 94 Civic EX coupe with a built GSR motor. I was hit in driver side by car running a red light a few days ago. Built B18C1, Greddy 4-2-1 Stainless Header, Apexi N1 Catback, AEM Hybrid Intake, Spoon Style Mirrors, JDM Vision Amber Corners, JDM Vision Amber Side Markers, Short Shifter, Euro Tails, Pilot 8000K HID's, 17' Axis Reverbs Gloss Black with Polished Lip, I'm sure I forgot something else, Complete body work and paint job done two months ago. Now car is totaled. Pretty much entire body was hit. Motor is still fine. He didn't get into motor on impact.

Now I am waiting to hear from insurance to see how much money I am going to have. But I plan on going after a 94-00 Teg GSR Shell, getting a JDM Front Clip, Slamming it, Getting GSR Blades, and getting Body work done and New Paint. Then dropping my motor and tranny into it.

If you already have a motor to drop in , then just buy an Ls shell it would be a lot cheaper for you..

 

Yes, just get an LS shell.

EDIT: Or actually, an RS shell, since it will be the lightest.

bump for you. i would look for a hatch. the motors sounds good but would be even better in a lighter car. hatch < teg just my .02 though

 

depending on what is cheaper get a gsr shell complete interior unless you already had good interior in the civic 5 lug jdm front end .. might be hard to find one out there in TN i know there dime a dozen in socal..

Thanks a bunch guys. i really could use your bumps to keep my topic fresh. Who knows, maybe I get lucky and someone from around here has what i need. I'll take an LS, RS, GSR shell anything. Interior in the civic is still fine. Driver door panel is crinkled cause he hit me in the door, but everything else pretty good. I will be new to tegs so what all from the civic interior would work in teg? Not really interested in hatches sorry

 

what price range of shell are you looking for?
