96 Honda Accord EX-R Brakes
this is a similar question to one posted for a 93 ive never had an accord before so i dont know if this is a characteristic of accords or if its just that the pads on my car are quite worn but there is quite a bit of pedal travel in the brake before the pads actually contact the rotor..
its been tough to get used to as i had an 88 325is and you good break with the left side of your right foot simply by rolling your foot as the pedals were matched up..
any comments are appreciated.. maybe a new master cylinder?
or better pads?
thanks..

Have you had an opportunity to see what the pad thickness is on your car now? On my 97 the brake pedal, when fully engaged, does dip slightly below the gas pedal, but even moreso as the pads wear.
Also, another culprit could be sticking rear calipers - if the E-brake isn't acutated often the caliper piston won't rotate out and sit tightly against the inboard pad, leading to excessive pedal travel.
