What do you guys think of this engine rebuild kit:

Its got ACL bearings, and new mechanicals, just curious if anyone has had a negative experience with these kits?

 

I am running almos the same rebuild kit on a turbo'd gsr with no problems yet, i got the acl race bearings and LS low comp pistons with my kit. He is a good seller, with pretty fast shipping. I didnt have a problen with my transaction, or with the parts so far. Hope this helps

as long as its all name brand ish. other than that i dont trust ebay. u normally get what u pay for

 

The rings, and bearings are decent,
But the Gasket kits that comes with a bunch of misc pieces, and HG are ****.

Buy the rings/bearings separate, and find the other stuff elsewhere.

 

The gasket kit is a sealed full set by Eristic. The water pump, idler, etc. are JDM, which I assume you meant by misc parts. Have you had bad luck with, or tried Eristic gaskets before? How about JDM parts? Please post if you have any experience with any of these. thanks.

I would assume they're just another name, and like the other kits on there, they are ****.

I bought one of the 50$ gasket kits, VC gasket didn't fit, along with most of the other stuff in it being horrible.

And if you're changing the Valve Seals, buy OEM from Honda.
