Default GIRL NEEDS HELP GETTING POWER TO ECU

hey awhile back I bought a crx off my brother and was running fine. One day it just didn't start up. i don't know a lot about cars, but he told me that there was no power going to the ecu. I've been searching and searching and I can't find any answers. how much would it cost to replace the ecu (if that's what it needs) and/or replace the power supply to it? argh. please help...I don't know where to start.
thanks

get a shop manual and it will tell you how to test if the ecu is bad. it will also tell you what color the power wire is that go to the ecu in the back of the maual in the wiring diagrams.

When you turn on the key,
Does the "check engine" light come on,then go off after a few seconds?
If not check fuse #14 under the driver side dash..

There are also fuses under the hood near the battery for the ecu:

engine grounds and tranny grounds are your friend fix them if they look like they have a shitty connection. if they have bad connections it can keep your car from starting!!!
