Got a b17 running ctr pistons and new skunk2 stage 2 pro camshafts with supertech valves springs and retainers. Just wonderin what kind of revs I would be safe running

did u have any clearence issues,,also.Did you Degree these camshafts.I read on Skunk2s site that they recommend all pro cams to be degree'd

 

clearence looked ok. Put this motor together for a friend he didn't have cam gears so no adjustment could be made. The head was only resurfaced so I would only expect the cam to be retarded .5- 1.0 degree or less. Also With compression as high as it is i'm not against having a small amount of negitive timing. We don't plan on revin this motor to high just have to see how everything looks on the dyno

 

im curious to see how it does on the dyno..Im still debating over the pro1 or pro 2
