Default Installing B16/LS Quaife into GSR Tranny... Parts needed?

I have been rocking a **** LS tranny w/ Quaife for some time, my friend has a very low mileage GSR tranny that he just broke yesterday at the track, believes its the diff. gear, he is going to sell it to me. What are all the parts I need to complete this swap? I did a little searching but didnt come up with much.

I assume you're just transferring your differential into the GS-R case. If the ring gear isn't messed up, you can just unbolt it from the GS-R diff and put it onto the LS diff. You probably should replace bearings while you're in there, but that's up to you. I much prefer to do it once and not have to worry about it for a long time, but maybe that's just me. Oh, while I'm thinking about it, you should change the tapered roller bearings on the diff to enclosed bearings. I've heard that they're far more stable and strong as opposed to teh tapered ones that sit in the race.

Well I just got the tranny dropped off, remember this is a 20K mint S80, was not aware the case has a huge hole where the diff is, so my friend included another S80 with only a bent 3rd shift fork. Anyways so I need a B16 Ring Gear and thats it? No other parts necessary? How hard would it be to transfer the good bearings from the tranny w/ the cracked case to the other tranny I have now?

On another note, would I benefit from heat treating any of the parts I have now? I already have Gearspeed Syncro's coming for the car, just dont wannt have to mess with this for awhile, even thought 650-700wheel is gonna play hell on the tranny, I would like it to hold a little while.

Can someone confirm just B16 Ring Gear? I broke the 2 trannys that I have down last night, the mint S80 looks amazingly clean and indeed the 2 large gears inside the diff were in pieces
