Default Radiator leaking slowly

car has 110k and got flushed at 86k

i found coolant on my radiator and I think it’s leaking form the edges. Is their any way I could fix it w/o replacing the radiator? I read that people used jb weld to seal it. any help would be appreciated.

My reservoir tank when from the high mark to the low mark, in about 6 week.

I used this stuff btw

JB Weld, and they make a special "Stop Leak" thing

It'll at least be a temp fix, I would that you suggest however that you just replace it, JBWeld/ Stop Leak would be temp fixes

I had that exact same leak. Turn out, there was a crack in the radiator. The JB weld didn't help me.... I just replaced it with a rad I bought on eBay. ~$75-90 for an okay one. OEM like replacement.

i had to replace mine. but it is just better to just buy a new one, because the sealant doesn't work in my opinion. plus i wouldnt want that to mix with my coolant

Just buy a new one, it cost me around $100 for my 94lx. Not a bad diy job. The only problem I had was with the tranny cooling lines leaking because I didn't use any thread sealer on them. I put some teflon tape on the threads and the leaks stopped. I messed around for about 5 months using 2 part epoxy and other tricks until I broke down and put the new one in. Just get it over with for peace of mind.
