Leaking radiator!!
i have a coolant leak, i think its coming from the top of the core, but i'm not entirely sure. it is dripping. the coolant drips about 1 drip every 5 seconds, so i'm not sure if its a cracked radiator... i would think that it'd drip faster, no? anyway, has anyone else had a problem like this? what do you think it could be? i'm pretty sure its not coming from the water pump.. i think its from the top of the radiator dripping down to the bottom and off my splash guard. i tried some prestone stop leak stuff, but to no avail, its still leaking. any ideas, thoughts, or experiences are welcome, thanks.
same prob here, i got 140k on the radiator, it leaks every once in a while. start saving for a new radiator, you can get an OEM replacement from like radiators.com or some place like that for under 100 bucks or go all out and get a PWR or fluidyne. just keep an eye on your temp gauge and keep the coolant level up in the mean time.
Honda/Acura radiators usually start leaking at around 100K miles, because of the plastic top. Just buy a cheap replacement from radiators.com or radiatorbarn.com
I just had this problem...Take care of it asap. Get a used radiator from a newer Integra (Showa) or buy an aftermarket one, but the leak will continue to get worse. The Integra radiators crack because part of it is made of plastic, so over time this occurs.......if you buy an aftermarket one that is all aluminum you won't run into this problem, but for the time being you should get a used one if funds are short.
OEM radiator cracked at 45,000 miles (two weeks after I bought the car used), replaced with a CSF all metal with crimped and soldered tanks. It began to seep from the top crimp after about 14 months (97,000), limited lifetime warranty does not cover this. Will be replacing with a Fluidyne in about a week (now at 153,000 miles). It never overheated with the second radiator because the core is still in good shape and it wasn't shooting out coolant so no real pressure drop.

Mine went out last week at 108k miles. The top seam was leaking so I replaced it with an all-metal radiator made by Modine. Was about $170 - ouch, but I picked it up local so no internet deals here.....
I've heard the Fluidyne's are good...just be sure its all metal or you will be replacing it again before too long...ha ha

yeah, same here that's how mine happen near the top where it meets with the top end. mine started to leak at 136k miles, it gushed up all over my underside hood and engine when I was driving so I just replaced it with a nice C&R radiator at http://www.afterhourzracing.com and no more leaks for me

I have 60k miles on my 98 GSR and the Radiator is leaking from the passenger side. Coolant seems to be leaking from the top of the radiator and the coolant in my reservoir keeps running low. I flushed and changed out my coolant the very next day. My car doesn't overheat but coolant is leaking. It isn't leaking out in a stream. All the hoses are tight. Any suggestions?
Man, is this a new trend or what? My radiator started leaking two Saturday's ago. Getting a new one with an aluminum core, being shipped right now, should arrive on the 8th.

not really a new trend... it's a known problem w/ Integra radiators- mine went bust at 95k miles... a search on this confirms it

Didn't say that in ignorance friend, it's just when it happens to you someone else posts it and then it's just a waterfall of similar responses. BTW, you may want to check out these people who I think have a fair price for their rad. replacements: http://www.coolradiator.com Good luck to all in their radiator woes, hopefully I'll be out of mine soon.
Sigh, mine went out yesterday (103k) just after a trip to Lake Tahoe with some harsh driving... Ordered from radiator.com for a Koyo for $119 with life time warranty. Will do it in a shop. Is Koyo good?
Same problem just a couple days ago. My GSR sprung a leak somewhere near the top. I'm looking for a replacement now.
What are some the best prices you guys found for the Fluidyne?
And will the sealer additives be a good enough fix for the next week or so?
