Default Rattle can primer okay?

Has anyone used the primer in the rattle can to primer their car and then go get a professional paint job done on this?

I bought some rattle can primer and primered the whole car and wet sanded it. I took it to one body shop and they said they can't warranty the paint job because the primer may crack or peel??

The majority of spray can primers commonly available are real shitty compaired to quality 2k high build pro type primers. Some of that stuff will even wipe off with wax and degreaser solvent used to wipe down parts before paint. Shops won't know whats under it or how you preformed the work, so your most likely not going to find a shop that will offer a warranty and spray it as is.

you basically answered your question in your first post.

most every bodyshop is going to look down on/give you that response with DIY work, especially primer.
