When I got this accord the D4 light was flashing and the speedometer would not work and when you are decelerating it will surge like it is changing gears but it can`t make up its mind which gear it wants to stay in. I changed tcm and now it everything works until it is driven about 10 miles and then the D4 light will start flashing and the speedometer will quit and the surging starts when decelerating. Also when I got it the AC had been leaking into the floorboard for some time and I guess it got the computer parts wet on the floorboard. I really like this car and want to try to fix it. Anybody have any clue? Thanks

 

Did you check your VSS?

 

That little D4 light that is flashing is a trouble code. You need to see what the code is and go from there.

 

Where would the vss be located and is it hard to check or change?

 

How would I check the codes or will a shop have to do that?

 

Is the vss on the side of the transmission?
