90 Accord S light blinking but no code??
Hey guys, i have a 1990 accord, and recently it has been giving me some problems. occasionally the S light will start to blink at a steady pace, blink blink blink continually, while driving, yet the car still seems to drive fine. other times the light comes on and stays lit - no blinking. other times i do have trouble with the cars performance, and it seems that Drive does not work, but rather i need to use the 1st and 2nd gear options only (not fun) to get it to work. through all of this, i cant seem to get a code though. i turn the ignition on, pull back the passenger side kick panel/carpet and jump the diagnostic connector, and NOTHING. nothing blinking on the LED light on the TCM either. a couple times however, i did realize that after driving it - and not shutting it off - the LED light would blink 1 time slowly, repeatedly, like blink.......blink........blink, as if to give me a #1 code, which i believe means torque converter issues?
anybody have any ideas what i should do or try? thanks for all the help!

Re: 90 Accord S light blinking but no code??
when it does throw the code (if that is what it is doing) it is just blinking steady. jumping the wires at that time, before turning the car off, does not make it change the pattern in which it is blinking. does that simply mean it is throwing a #1 code? torque converter lockup? how come it wouldnt store the code?
