ATTN: Timing guru's...
IGNITION timing that is...
I've got a timing gun/light w/advance option. I jumped the car, hooked up the gun, loosen'd the distributor, and then started the car. I adjusted the distributor until I got the car to BTDC, 16degrees??(the red mark between the two, NOT the TDC, solitarey mark).
The car runs and idles good, although now the distributor is almost all the way advanced. Also when Adjusting the degrees ^ via gun, the pulley rotates twords TDC, with that said I'm thinking that when the gun reads 0degrees and is exactly in between the two marks, it's at 16degrees.
Thanks much in advance.
