1995 Honda Accord 2dr

She currently has a stock suspension so I'm looking to get her slammed, looking for at least a 3"-4" drop. I'm willing to shell out at least $400-$500 plus labor cost on my end. What brands do you guys recommend for springs and shocks? And should I get springs or coilovers? Whats the difference between the two?

 

Springs just lower the car, coilovers lower it and allow you to adjust the ride height. Also there is a good bit of difference in price.

 

3-4 inch drop huh? off the top of my head i cant think of any spring that will give you that low of a drop, your probably going to have to go with full coilovers. what are your prioritys? look, performance, comfort? if mainly your just looks for looks then maybe a air bag suspension system will be best for you (O NOOOES...AIR BAGS!)

 

Ground control coilovers are pretty quality. Going that low you ride quality is going to go to poo though. And say goodby to whatevers left of you bushings in a few months. You wont find springs that will go that low, unless you cut them(not a good idea)so just get some good coilovers and you can get that low.
