How to attach horn button?
Okay, I bought a Sparco steering wheel/hub kit. Just got the hub kit today. Pulled my stock wheel off and bolted the hub kit on.
It has a wire coming out of it with a plug at the end, with what looks like two crimp plugs inside of it to plug into something.
I also have the sparco horn button that came with the wheel. It's got two small gold tabs on the back that are bent up a little bit, and each one has a small hole in it.
What do I need to do to make the damn horn work?
Thanks for the help./././
Alex
*Edit* Come on, someone out there knows this! I don't want to have to call Sparco tomorrow morning...

i have the same damn problem, but with a 1st gen.
those 2 pegs: the one on the center of the button connects the the wire sticking out of your hub. now, inside your hub, there should be another peg sticking out of your hub: there also should be an extra wire with crimp connectors on each side. connect the remaining plug to the one on the outside of your button. install. it should work. i think i got a fucked up hub, cause i have nothing to connect the extra wire too. my horn worked when i sprayed my winshield washer fluid
ghetto, but i need a fix too.

Well I might just be screwed, cause I only have the one wire...no other connectors or anything. Just the one wire with the one connector. But I'll call Sparco tomorrow morning and see if I can figger it out.
Thanks for the help though!!

Yeah, when I bust out my pipe-wrench-attached-to-a-ratchet-with-a-19mm-socket-on-the-end-quick-release-tool, right?
That would be more like a slower-than-**** release hub.

Just did an install of a SPARCO Flash 5 on their hub. The hub came with only 1 wire-connected to a plate under the hub. The steering wheel has 2 wires coming out of the switch. 1 wire gets connected to the hub wire and the other one well I had to improvise and drill a small (#6-32) hole and put another wire on the metal upright of the hub and then splice the second wire to that-this is the ground connection SPARCO forgot.
