Only way I know is to fire em up and check the cutoff.
If the driver side flares up it's JDM.
If the passenger side flares up it's USDM.

You can swap the ambers out for clear.
They sell the clear diffusers in the US.
What you think the AP1 crew been doing?
In other words, you can't tell by just looking at the corners.

Do they have DOT stamped anywhere on the headlight? If not, they're not USDM ..... or am I talking out of my ***?

Actually , they could be either

There were a select few USDM S2000's that sneaked out from dealers with no stock amber reflector

I know because I roam around in the s2k forum sometimes.

JDM Stock had no reflectors
90% of the USDM had amber reflectors
10% of the USDM had no reflectors

fire them up is the only true way

yes headlights do look as if they were sealed before which makes me think the reflector was swapped out.

those diffusers look 100% like the headlights in the pic, and the headlight appears to be resealed (look at all the residue) so i'd say usdm modified.
