Um, they look oem, maybe a retrofitted HID projector.

I'm sure he and everyone else knew.

They look like stock headlights to me.

Why don't you PM the owner? I'm sure he would be able to tell you.

But no, it's easier to start a thread and ask everyone but him

Dave does not have any HID components on his car. That second pic is mine BTW. I believe he just put something like Silverstars in the high beams or something, and maybe some upgraded low beam halogens, but there is no HID stuff, only stock halogen projectors.

Patrick already provided the answer, and to be honest, I'm not even sure what the purpose of the original question was. There's no mystery here. They're just stock housings with blue coated high-beam bulbs.

AWD Terror (1:58 PM 10/18/2007): I'm guessing that this is your car https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2128566

RaceCity_USA (3:46 PM 10/18/2007): Yes, it's mine. The headlights are stock with all 4 9005's from JC Whitney. I ordered white, they sent blue.

Patrick is correct. The housings are stock and the bulbs are 9005's from JC Whitney. They had a buy 3, get one free deal. I ordered white, but they sent blue. Oh well.

yeah I used to run the 9005 conversion w/ Sylvania Cool Blues. They didn't last very long and I never could figure out why. Then I noticed on Sylvania's website that 9005 bulbs are only rated for 50-100 hours.

HIR bulbs would probably be a better choice.

In terms of both longevity and light output.

Maybe cuz the pic in the op is clean where most 94-97 headlights are dirty, scratched up, oxidated to hell.
