Default q about possibly turboing

i am starting to lean towards doin a turbo setup with my d16. i dont really want to do a swap yet so.... how much will it affect fuel milage. if i was to install a fuel rail and big injectors with a fuel pump right now with a pretty much stock d16, would that kill my gas milage even if i keep my foot out of the pedal? thx guys

well to an n/a engine a turbo is actually a restriction until it starts singing. you really need to stay out of the pedal. but it will affect your mpg when in the throttle.
