does an iron block 92-95 h22a need to be sleeved or just the 96+ frm blocks?

 

all the H22's are FRM, the A4's are open deck, and A1's are closed, that is the main difference

 

so why does wiesco say h22a not a1, IRON BORE not require sleeving exept 96+?

 

because after 15 years, they know their pistons will be going into a SLEEVED block.

All H blocks use FRM liners, not iron. The only forged pistons that will work without resleeving are Mahle Goldseries and Jun pistons.

Typo? Maybe they meant F22?
