Default Magnecor wires

I have Magnecor spark plug wires on my 2001 GSR and they tend to slip off of the distributor cap and leave me with only 2 or 3 cylinders firing.

Anybody else have this problem? what can I do about it? Or are there better wires out there that won't do this?

mmm mine don't do that. my magnacores have been fine and i've had them over a year. i wonder why they would pop off. i know auto parts stores (schucks/auto zone) carry some lubricant you can put on to the terminals. it's suppose to help conductivity i believe. you could try it.

i would suggest just getting ngk blues.

I've ran magnecores in the past for over 2 years...only once they have popped off...scared the hell out of me since the car started sounding like a motorcycle and I had no power! lol

I've been using Magnecors for almost 10 years now, and haven't had any problems.

yep, those are good options. small zip ties or crimp the connector a bit.

that's a "duh why didn't I think of that?" moment. Thanks!

BTW, what kind of plug wires do you have in the pic? The braided look is cool.
