Upgrading wheel size
I want to purchase some new wheels for my 1999 Accord 3.0i 6cyl The car is entirely stock, no mods at the moment.
Stock wheels are 205/55R16.
I really want to put on some 20's please can you tell me if this is possible? If not straight on then what changes will need to be made to the body? I've noticed the suspension is closer to the tyres than it has been on other cars I've had. I've no problems with getting the arches adjusted to fit 20's. What other things would I need to consider?
Thanks
Simon

Unless its just your "cruiser" ride, it's not really practical, tho they should fit. I dont see why they wouldnt. Do you plan on lowering your car or doing any other mods.
Here's 20's on a 94 Accord.http://custom.autos.yahoo.com/galler...?photoid=66653
And here's an honest answer...http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Would_20_i...X_Sedan_4dr_V6
Its your car, do what you want with it.

Match your tire size to the new set up. You can do a 225/30/20 or a 225/35/20.
Go to google and type in tire calculator, and they will give you different site you can use. Put you oem size on one side and the size you want to run on the other. It will give you all the spec's you need. I have a 7gen, so my setup is a little different because 7gen's has more room, but here are a few pic's....

It's all about matching up the sizes. And make sure your rim has the right offset. On a 6th gen, I would do a 20x7 or 20x7.5 offset- +55 to +45
Mine are 20x8.5 with a 40 offset, but like I said, 7gen's have more room...
