The slave cylinder bolts to the tranny case. It seems that the bracket breaks... I've heard of a couple instances.
the hydraulic line goes in one side, and then under the boot is a rod which pushes on the engagement fork.
I dont have a picture on me.

yea i found that pic already. its hard to understand because i need to actually see how the cables are hooked up. cuz i know wht the cables look like. i just need to see if maybe it came loose from something.
Uhm there's no cable as far as I know, instead there's a clutch line/pipe(where your clutch fuild passes through) connecting the master and slave cylinder.

two lines run from the tranny. i think they are both goin directly to the shifter. am i right? idk. and if it is the tranny thats broke. then what trannies can i use in replacement? can i use just any hydraulic d series tranny or what? jw. i know i sound really dumb right now. but this is gonna be my first time working on a 2001 and up car.

Is it a Clutch-related problem, or is a shifting-related problem? I couldn't quite understand the initial problem.
To answer your questions: you'll be stuck using a D17 transmission and there are two cables leading from the transmission to the shifterbox for the operation of shifting.
