Acura Part # 08E49-ST7-200G, Switch, Hood Security
Saw this on Sons Acura parts web page, but there was no picture or description. Does anyone know what it really is? I'm just looking for additional security measures for my ITR and at $31 thought it might be worth looking into. It was under Electrical Accessories.

Shouldn't be difficult at all. Most decent alarms come with a hood pin switch anyways. If not, they should have a hook up for one

Indeed, though you can pick up an aftermarket hood pin switch for around $5, rather than spending $30 at Acura.
