on the d-spec shocks do you use the stock pillow mount or can you use another companies pillow mount? also how do they adjust, from the top?
wud a good setup be d-spec shocks with tanabe GF210 springs?

I have them with Tokico's suggested d-spec springs. It's a great, stiff ride. I highly recommend them. They adjust with a "special tool" that comes with them (it's a glorified allen wrench).

You just twist the cap off, stick the tool in the hole, tighten all the way (clockwise) until you can't anymore. That's the stiffest setting. You can rotate up to 7 times counterclockwise to soften the suspension (Tokico says no more than 7 times so I have never gone over 6). It takes less than 2 minutes to do all four... literally.
