Replacement HID bulb and ballast for 98+ ITR JDM Headlight
My right side JDM HID headlight has finally blown, I've been to every Japanese Importer in my surrounding area, and none have a replacement kit. So I pose the question, Does anybody know where I can get a replacement HID kit which includes the ballast and bulb for my 98+ headlight?
or
Would I be able to purchase and aftermarket kit such as prelumon etc. and retro fit it to fit in that headlight, has anyone done this before?
Thanks in advance to any answers

What makes you think you need a new ballast? You very well may just need a replacement capsule, which you can order from any Honda or Acura dealer, or source online.
What is a replacement capsule? My rightside hight light went out already and I cant figure it out. Its definately not the bulb, so I thought the whole ballast was out.
Can someone link me to what the capsule is?

Just pick up a ballast and igniter that hooks up to a D2S bulb.
My friend is using OEM Toyota HID ballasts on his JDM HID front end.
Because his headlights didn't come with the OEM ITR ballasts.
Same exact thing; brightness, cutoff, etc etc.
Only difference is he doesn't have a huge ballast connected to his headlight but instead a small one sitting to the side of his engine bay.

D2R capsules are generally reserved for use in reflector-based HID housings. D2S capsules are used in projectors.
