Default I.D this suspension - JDM Integra Type RX

Hi,

Just just imported an Integra Type RX and i noticed the suspension didn't look standard since the shock body's Red and the spring Yellow. Upon further inspection the shock body and spring are the exact same as stock ITR although top adjustable.
We also have another Type RX in stock which has the normal Black body and spring which is the same as another Type R (non-Type RX) we have in just now. There are no markings on the body from an aftermarket maker although all the numbers and markings on the shock are in the exact same format and style as stock Honda so it looks like this stuff is from Honda.

Anyone shed some more light?

John

Looks like the HOP suspension they sold for ITR's in Japan. Other than that I have no clue.... I can not read Japanese.

hey! Is that rear strut tower bar a factory piece on the Rx? It looks good, and I'm really digging the plastic covers over the struts, they look like Honda intended it to look.

Is that a stock piece?

Car is sold to a customer now. We imported 2 for him to choose from, one RX with 29,000 miles and the other with 21,000 miles. Both immaculate examples!

See our site - http://www.privateimports.co.uk

We get a few enquiries from the USA and Canada, but so far we have not sent any cars over to you guys...

It's just a honda optional item, available to UK or JDM integras. Comes complete with the fitting kit to make installation look really neat and tidy.

I think we had a thread based on that a few weeks ago. I determined, based on Honda literature, that they offered the Rx in all the colors. It was just an upgraded package. The dilemma is, only the PY ones got the yellow seats.

I was checking out this guy's website, and he has some pretty friggin' sweet cars for sale. I wanted to throw up a pic, it's not quite MY cup of tea, but a badass car none the less:

If I saw that coming up in my rear view, I'd not hesitate to move over. LOL That looks aggressive as F**K!

Thats my daily driver!

It's changed a lot since I got it in from Japan - full paintjob, new wheels, new seat to make a full new image for it. Here is the way it sits right now.

Thanks for the comments guys

I wish importing cars to the US was as easy as importing it elsewhere.

yup, Honda Access optional suspension

and yes, its neat and tidy like that how its supposed to be when you buy the bar from Honda. the only reason i've not done it is i've been too lazy to go out and buy a 50mm drill bit

oh, and

yea, the NSX-R, even the old NA1's go for £25,000+ , or $50,000+

if you can afford to buy one of those, ship it and get it registered, you're a baller alright
