will a crx look good if i install fender flares like the ones they put on the ae86 corolla?

I'm sure there are more, J's racing used to make them but I believe they are discontinued. Not sure if the one in the picture has J's ones or not.

I cut the stock fenders, welded extensions and then just bondo then sanding than bondo than sanding....till you get it how you want it.
Not much of a write up but you get the idea.
