b20b swap into 96 civic ex which stock intake system to use?

You have a B20b swap in a 96civic and you live in CA... I wouldnt worry too much about keeping anything stock. Once the cop pulls you over and pops the hood, the stock intake isnt going to save you from being sent to a BAR ref and having to pull the motor

You have a B20b swap in a 96civic and you live in CA... I wouldnt worry too much about keeping anything stock. Once the cop pulls you over and pops the hood, the stock intake isnt going to save you from being sent to a BAR ref and having to pull the motor

Regardless. If you are pulled over for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and they ask you to pop your hood you are screwed. You have what is considered a light truck engine in your car. That will not pass smog or BAR ref. I had a stock looking car too, and pulled in to get food at the same place they were having a car meet (cops at every entrance of the center) and got rolled... and I only had a D16y8 in my EJ1 at the time (6-7 years ago)

yeah stock looking or not, they just haft to hear something kinda funny and that's your ***. But damn never thought about the light truck thing. well there goes getting the **** legalized
