Default Comptech Ice Box Q..

Can you use the stock intake arm, or do you HAVE to use the "high flow intake" that Comptech offers?

All this is for a 99-00 Si

Thanks

I'm going to use the Type R intake and the B16 Ice box. Should work (When I get my car fixed).

i did something similar, i used GSR intake tube to GSR box, K&N cone inside the box, and used the resonator tube and connected it to the bottom of the box (epoxy is my friend ) it has the right turn on it and goes into the bumper, where the AEM CAI filter would go, works great, looks stock

Stock 99-00 SI arm will not work. DC2 (ITR) arm will work.

You don't have to use the comptech one, you can use the stock arm.

since im running the icebox on a 00' Si...the stock arm wont fit correctly with the box. you can either use a itr arm or purchase the intake that comptech offers. im not sure what k&n filter you need to use it tho'. you may want to ask the itr boys...i remember someone posting the part number.
