Default ABS light fuse

I've got a '96 Accord. The ABS light stays on.

I don't want to fix the ABS. I just want to turn the ABS light off.

What's the best way to do this? Take the time to open the dash and everything and pluck the light out? Is there a fuse somewhere I can pull? I still want the other lights (SRS, Check Engine, etc.) to come on in the future if something does go wrong with them so if the fuse controls that entire cluster of lights, I'd rather not do that.

Thanks in advance!

If Im not mistaken, even if you take out the fuse, all that would do is turn the light on. In your case, its already on so i'd say its bulb pulling time.

Thanks, kornfox!

I did not know that about the fuse. I'm glad you saved me the trouble of figuring that out on my own.

Guess it's time to pull out the ole shop manual this weekend. I've never taken apart the dash on a Honda before.

UPDATE: Problem solved. Followed the instructions from above and took the ABS light off. Took about 4.5 hours solo.

Instructions worked like a charm until I had to disconnect the 3 harnesses from the cluster. I was feeling around BEHIND the cluster instead of ABOVE the cluster. Finally found them, but my hands are too big to really maneuver well.

The ABS light is very clearly labeled, which took all of the guesswork out. I also fixed my radio while I had everything apart. Now I can catch AM stations.

Best of all: no broken parts and no rattles.

Thanks for all the help!
