I have a mechanic doing an auto to manual trans swap on my 98 Prelude with a 97 trans. I bought a Exedy Stage 1 clutch and Fidanza lightweight flywheel. My mechanic says the flywheel is too tall and the starter won't disengage. He states the Fidanza is visually taller than a stock flywheel. Anyone have or hear
of this experience? Fidanza has yet to respond to me. The seller spoke with the mechanic but they don't agree on the part number of the ring gear. The mechanic claims it's a factory mix up / defect.
