wassup guys, i have an ef with ls/vtec turbo. When i pull the spark wire out of cylinder 3 the motor doesn't really die out like if i pulled the spark plug out of the other cylinders. if i pull out spark wire 4... the motor almost dies. it'll run if i pull out 1 or 2 but u can here the motor die a little. is this normal?

 

when the motor is running does it sound like a Subaru? if so on the #3 i would look in to see if the injector is working and or the plug is fouled out and the wire is good.

 

i actually just changed the injectors cause the one on cylinder 3 had went bad. i do need a retune but i don't wanna mess it up any worse during a retune if something's messed up in the cylinder. but when i drive the car it's running fairly fine. any ideas?

 

o yea, the injectors i just installed are 450cc and the ones prior to that were 310 i believe. if that helps any

 

gotta get retuned if u change injector size, may also need a resistor box... what kinda injectors did u take out and what did u put in? what engine management?

 

well they were 310's with resistor box so i got some dsm450cc that needed resistor box. i'm using hondata s200 but i'm prolly just gonna get retuned on crome.

 

so yea i'm still using the original resistor box
