Confusing valvetrain noise....

OK, here we go, this is all on a obd0 b16 mind you.
I had a weird lil raspy tick from the top end of my motor, so i went ahead and adjusted all my valve lashes and they were all well within specs.... but the rasp is still there, it got a bit quieter but is still present. at this point i'd have to figure its the cam follower thats making noise, which brings me to my question... is it the follower that usually wears out or where it mounts? I'd like to refresh this head and use it on another motor when i put my LS swap in, but I want to know if this is an issue that anyone else has come across. any help is more then appreciated. Thanks

You can replace them by removing the rockers and rocker shafts..
The cams do not have to be removed...

well anything thats almost 20 years old usually goes bad eventually... so just put some gsr's but there like 30 bucks apiece but u can use h22 lma's and there like 8 bucks apiece but u will have to shim them
