would a z6 valve cover fit on a y8 head?

i jus wanna make sure. my buddy had one laying at his house that he gave me and i'm going to paint it and put it on b/c it looks cooler with the vtec written on it. jus making sure that there is enough clearance and im not going to mess anything up.

 

100% it will fit.

d15b,z6,y8 are all the same.

 

what about the gasket can i use my y8 one or do i need to switch to a z6?

Yup, they are the same.

 

no they arent the same to the naked eye. they have different writing on them. but they really are the same. and will fit

 

z1/z6/d15b/y5/y7/y8 all fit
