apexi n1 exhaust
so i seen this add on a local site where im from
This is a used real Apexi N1 full catback exhaust system with cat straight pipe for more high flow. This cat straight pipe gives an increase in hp and torque. This exhaust has a nice deep sound and is the best exhaust system out there for hp, torque, sound. This exhaust will fit a civic HB 92-2000 all models, integra, and honda civic 96-2000. Asking $350 for it. This exhaust retails for $500
is it going to fit because i did some research and the exhaust for those model were sold seperatley

Hehehe, sorry. Let me explain; If it's not spending half its time on the track then I wouldn't go with an extremely loud, high profile, straight-through muffler. My favorite kind of Honda is a mildly tuned, comfortable, true street car. If and when I change the exhaust on my car it will probably be an A'PEXi WS. That's why I personally don't like the N1. But yes, everyone and their mother agrees that it's a great performer.

Just so you know, straight-throughs are always loud. Like I said, the A'PEXi WS catback system seems to be a good one. It's a traditional muffler type but optimized over an OEM type for a little more low and mid-range power (according to A'PEXi). It's also meant to be fairly quiet, basically just giving the car a more pronounced, sportier tone. Plus it has a really nice street look, discreet polished tip tucked under the bumper. Search "apex ws" or something of the sort on YouTube to get video and sound.

I guess they're okay at low speed and low load, but I'm considering full throttle sound too, and any time I hear a straight-through at full throttle it's pretty freak'n loud. Plus, I don't know about you guys, but I don't like to be the guy with the car that pisses off all of the other drivers on the road.

Re: (Hardedge)
also depending on how low the car is... when you go over a bump you either dent or scratch the muffler since its positioned at a wierd angle.
