d16 idle problems
hey guys, i have a d16 and i have some idling issues. when the car gets warm, th idle surges between 400-1100 rpms and my ecu sends more fuel to keep it from dying. i have cleaned out my iacv and my fitv and my cat is good. no vacuum leaks. any clue anyone?
Start the car bring it up to operating temp. Remove the air intake at the T/B look inside the T/B you will see 2 holes cover the botom one with your finger if you feel suction then the fitv is leaking and you need to replace it or take it all apart clean things and reassemble. there are many diy's on how to do it
i have cleaned the fitv and iacv. i think it may be air bubbles in my coolant lines causing the iacv to act up. anyone have that problem?

Airbubbles would generally not cause that.
Are you getting a CEL for the IACv? Its not uncommon for them to stop working. Try reseting your ECU and see if that clears it up. If not, it may be time to get a replacment.
