My vehicle : 94 civic hatch

Engine swap, now has a b16 (i believe it's a del-sol engine right?)

I have a compressor that should mount to this engine for my A/C... HOWEVER, the bracket I have right now to mount it is from the old engine.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A BRACKET THAT WILL FIT ON MY B16 ENGINE???

I've tried bolting it on with just 2 bolts and it eventually broke off. Someone has to have one of these.

 

if your b16 engine swap is from a del sol vtec model then your d series ac compressor should bolt right on with no problem..
is your b16a jdm that comes with p30 ac bracket ? or it is a usdm ?

 

yes.. i know, but the bracket is different. the bracket won't allow me to.

the compressor is the perfect fit, BUT without the proper bracket (i still have the old one from the old engine) it won't fit

 

is your b16 swap jdm? because jdm del sol b16a and usdm del sol b16a ac brackets are different..because my jdm b16a came from a del sol in japan and i had to do some modifications and tried various ac brackets and compressors to make my ac work.

 

how do i know if my engine is jdm or not? I'm a bit of a newb with the honda stuff

 

the photo shown below is from my engine.if u look closely..u will see B16A stamped on the engine block..that means it is JDM..but if u see B16A1 or B16A2 that means it is usdm..whatever with a digit number after B16A is usdm model

 

ok. ty. i will check to see what my motor says...

i'm still pretty sure i'll need a bracket though. we shall see.

 

what about a JDM B18C, what type of bracket / compressor will that one need?

 

You could either run the Del Sol bracket or the CRV bracket.

umm not to be a dick, but arent all JDM motors from japan.. hence JDM meaning JAPANESE DOMESTIC MARKET
