i need some help restoring my carbon fiber hood. its bad to the point the clear coat had start cracking off. tried to sand with 400, 800, 1000 and so on but no luck still the same. i was thinking i should remove the clear coat with aircraft paint remover and getting it re clear coated. Is the aircraft paint remover do anything to the carbon fiber finish? any tips on how to save it? no pics but would appreciate any help thanks.

 

sand with 800 and re-clear it.
