Brake Fluid LEAK(PUDDLE)
I havent drove my car for a day, and when i came home and checked it out there was a puddle brake fluid all over the ground. The puddle was under the right axel/ wheel. I checked the master cylinder and all the fluid is gone. I just replaced the brake pads and resurfaced the rotors, but I did not change the calipers. Do you guys think that this could be a cause of the caliper?? Or Maybe the brakeline is cracked?? Please let me kno, I am planning to do a light overhaul of the car, New Axels alignment and hopefully new calipers over the next week.
HTF would we be able to tell you where it is leaking from? YOUR the one looking at the car, open your eyes and SEE where it's leaking from! This is the exct kind of stupid question that makes this board suck!
Did you just see brake fluid and decide hey, I'll just post on H.T.! why actually try to find the leak myself when people I never met will be able to use their telepathy to diagnos the leak just by reading my useless post!
No go ahead and flame me and tell me how out of line I am

what part or the axel..at the hub or closer to the engine....put fluid in the mc and have someone push down the pedal and c 4 urself if its the dam bleeder or the actual piston of the calliper. good luck. if u need further help just pm me.
haha i did say where the leak is comming from, I cant slide my *** all the way down the car and look at it. Theres no more FLUID so how can I see the leak still?? So I cant see where everythings comming from. I wouldnt think it would be a problem cuz it can only be a few things that would make it leak like that.
But it seems like youre on a rage trip, or jerking off to some free asian **** site on the next browser. You didnt have to post here, but im not gonna do some e-fight with you and say how much of a lil b you are
Yeah I'll "FLAME" you, only if it wasnt on the internet

I think it might be the bleeder or maybe the piston in the caliper.. When I changed the pads, the calipers were leaking a bit. Will that usually get worse cause its been leaking onto my rims sometimes
dude..just stop. Dont let one person get u all apeshit, pay no mind to his post. if u have acess to a jack and stands...i would do what i said above. get some more fluid....and did u bleed the brakes?if u did there is a chance u might not have closed the bleeder screw all the way tight.

And If your car has drums in the rear,
the "wheel cylinder" is probably the cause..
I would also suggest compairing the cost of
a "caliper-kit" to the cost of a remanufactured caliper..
{You get core credit for turning in your old ones}
Unless you have the proper tools and the patience,
a replacement caliper might be a lot less hassle..

actaully rebuilding calipers is very easy and cheap. if you want to rebuild your calipers let me know i can tell you how do it. a blow gun is needed to remove piston out of caliper, some 3m red flexible scuff pad material to clean off inside of caliper and outside of piston, a small srewdriver to remove/install seals, a pick to clean out seal grove inside caliper bore & brake clean.
Thanks guys, I was just checkin on my car outside, and i checked the pedal and it goes all the way down to the ground.. I put fluid into the master cylinder, but as of now the brakes do not work whatsoever. I am thinking abt new ones or rebuilding them, I will take a few days to think and do my research. I have to get new axels on both sides so I guess this is something else I have to take care of as of now...
Boosstboy I will let you know shortly on any help needed... Thanks
