ok guys before i get flamed ill give u some history on this deal...
im building a gsr blcok with b16 head for a friend of mine, and we cannot located a good gsr crank, so i have a few ls cranks taht are beautiful lying around, and im just going to install it... the goal on this build is mid 400whp numbers on meth...
now the question is, i purchased 9:1 cp pistons (.020 over) for a gsr...
what compression ratio are those going to yield with an ls crank, ls rods, with those cp's on an unmilled b16 head?

i understand that the b16 head will drop compression, but what about the ls crank and rods? wont that bump it back up?

thanks but ive been there, the problem is im not sure if the deck height is different between the gsr and ls blocks???
gsr block+ls crank and rods +9.1 cp pistons (in a stock gsr)+b16 head=what comp ratio???

Depends upon what you put it in. There are plenty of LS Rod/Crank and B16/GSR head combinations. The rods and crank aren't going to change your effective compression much, that's of course more in the head and piston that you use.
I've had plenty of those LS Crank/Rod combinations in a GS-R block with a B16 or GS-R head. The increase in torque is fantastic. When sleeved to 84mm with the 89mm stroke, its even moreso.
You'll be fine with that combination.
