Default So here we go with a round 2.

Ok, most of yall probably wont remember, but i made a post almost a year ago talking about the machine shop that f'd me over. Well at that point i almost decided to say screw this **** im done, but thanks to a few friends, im back for another round and this is what im bringing to the table.

Car is extremely dirty, cant wash it due to the water ban.

The bosch 044 is in route, i had the tsunami around so i put it on there temporarily, will be for sale in a couple days.

I will answer any questions on the setup, but i dont care to type all the info out if noone even looks at the post.

Setup:
85mm darton sleeved block
9.7:1 cp's
eagle rods with arp 2000
type r head with full ferrea build
1mm oversized intake and exhaust valves
and a few odds and in here and there.

I was always under the impression that having your IAT sensor there was a bad idea on turbo setups

well with the bosch 044 and the t3/t67 h.o. im hoping for the 700 range. I am probably going to get tuned next weekend. Right now im running on my last map where i made 352 @ 10lbs with a few different things.

And the IAT probably wont be there for long, that whole upper pipe will be replaced after this motor last a little while.

Doesn't that manifold have a diamond-shaped spot for an IAT? The Junk2 mani has the spot on runner #1 on top, you just have to drill & tap it.

yeah, it has one on the back, but you have to get the obd1 sensor and convert my wireing, which is really no big deal but then i would still have a hole in my pipeing to worry about. But it will be taken car of soon.

I'm glad you decided to stick w/ it. I remember your block being at Danny's house for a while. Also do you think that catch can will work how you have it positioned sideways?? Won't it overflow easier being like that??

Nice set-up, what injectors are you running?

It's already there and ready to go on the Edelbrock. I hate using the iat on the IC piping... they love blowing off especially with set-ups running a lot of boost. Zip ties ftw, lol.

1000cc's

Yeah, i let Danny take my block and my head, and other parts to the machine shop that they all use because after the last shop worked their magic i just dont trust anyone on this side of town. Well its an nrg catch can, and i dont think it will over flow because the small line coming from the bottom is actually a drain back line so if any oil does get into the can it will drain back (theoretically). I know there will be pressure in that line when i boost but it should drain back after boosting.

Yeah, about the IAT, i have to find the sensor so i can go ahead and hook it up.

I hope to go to the dyno around the middle of next week, my new fuel pump SHOULD be here, and then its to the dyno. So we will see.
