I own a 2007 Civic EX, I am used to having the lights go out with the ignition from previous cars I have owned. At night I park in the garage and often forget to shut the headlights off. I leave the keys in the ignition and that chime warning over rides the headlamp on warning. Consequently i wake up to a dead battery. is there any way to program the lights to go out when the ignition is turned off?

 

the only way to do something like that would to rewire the head lights and unless you have experince with auotmotive wireing or electonics also you would need wireing dighrams for your head lights and ingtion system sounds like way to much work to me you best bet would be just to remember to turn you lights off
