Default High Flow cat 4th gen

A direct bolt on high flow cat. I seen one on Modcar.com but its like 250 bucks, thats almost 150% more than an OEM cat. Rip or no rip? The ones on Ebay are listed as high flow cats but are really test pipes/resonators. Anyone have any suggestions? Frankly I dont like the new replacement cat I got, number 1 its illegal and is gonna get me a some big fat tickets and or a nice red rejection sticker on the windshield.

Why does it have to be direct bolt on?

You can get one from smsp that you can have welded to fit, all you'd need is two flanges.

Direct Bolt on cause its easier for me. Im trying to avoid mechanics at all costs.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by mgags7 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Why does it have to be direct bolt on?

Mine is OBX to, but I took it to a local mechanic and they said its a resonator. It even said High flow cat on the box. But frankly I think I believe the mechanic a little more, they seem like good people, aside from the mechaincs that take one look at u and go ''this guy is worth this much bucks''<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by cb7tougeracer &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i got a obx one from ebay works fine and bolted up and its a high flow cat not test pipe</TD></TR></TABLE>

Yeah, cut the flanges off your bolt on test pipe, and have a place weld the flanges onto a decent cat converter
