Auto manufacturers call these things acoustic absorbsion pads. Now they usually install them with plastic clips or bolts so that it falls and smothers if there is a fire. Ive had vehicles with them removed an no paint problems.

i doubt that stuff weighs very much.... i would invest in a CF hood if you really wanna remove weight from your hood. other suggestions include lighter weight rims, converting all your glass in your car to lexan (lol), removing power window motors/door locks, and also your back seat is optional. haha still have your spare tire right?

Teaching a four year old to drive your **** would probably be the easiest 100 pound reduction...

Why would you buy a new Si to do a weight reduction? dumb IMO. if you wanted a super fast car....you should have gotten a gutted hatch.

It'd be nice if everyone have the option to have 2 cars, one to play with one to dd. I'd say just let the guy do whatever he wants with the car he has.

i dont see the point for something so small. speaking for myself i probably have more than 5 lbs of stuff in my car already. manuals, ipod, sunglasses, hoodie, business cards, pocket knife, towel, and football lol, plus whatever other random things may be around. i dont think you would be able to even notice 10lbs.
