Just curious on where i can find JDM yellow recaros and how hard are they to find?

 

They are very rare and hard to find. I have seen them for sale maybe 3-4 times within last two years. Your best bets would be hondamarketplace.com and ebay.

yea they are rare even in japan. What my friend did was went up to a guy with a py itr with yellow interior and offered to buy him any seats in the store for his. The guy agreed and went with a racing style rearo for about 800 bucks. He definately made out.

Its crazy how we want JDM ITR DC2 Recaros, but in Japan... its the first thing they get rid of for some other seats. Sometimes I think they do it just for the sake of not having stock stuff in their car. They do that with all their other parts too.

 

Someone correct me if I am wrong. Wasn't there only 250 sets made in yellow or am I getting it confused with Canadian reds?

 

Actually I think the Canadian reds were less then that. IDK

As far as I know there were only 250 sets of Canadian reds and I really have no clue how many yellow recaros were there.

in all honesty, the yellow Recaros are easy to get, BUT..... you pretty much have to throw out any preconception of what you are going to pay for them. If money is no object, and I mean NO object, then you can get them easily.

But of course, once you find out how much someone wants for them, and how much you can buy ANY other seat for, whether it be the red or black SRD's, or any aftermarket seat, you may find out why they seem so rare.

while you're at it, pick up a set of genuine sides and rear valences.

I believe only 500 sets of yellow were produced.
